Reccomended Viewing
Channel 4 has recently started showing the latest series of Friends for all us poor people in the world who don't have satelite. It's as good as it always has been and is on at a sensible time (9pm Fridays) so there is no excuse not to watch it! -
www.channel4.com for more info

Bond Season
Hopefully you've all been watching the Bond films on Wednesdays and sometimes Saturdays. If not then start with the next one on Wednesday 21st July which is... errr, well watch it and you'll find out!
The Bond season will finish with the latest Bond film - Tommorow Never Dies - in which Bond has to prevent WW3 by defeating media millionaire Elliot Carver who wants to make headlines, by the time it's on you won't have to wait long before you can go and see the new Bond film - 'The World Is Not Enough'.
Find out more about Bond season at
www.itv.co.uk

South Park
Also on Fridays on Channel 4 is the rather popular animation known as South Park. As usual all those with satelite have already seen it but for the rest of us we can watch the second series to find out what goes on in the world of South Park - at 9:30pm which is just after Friends. Be warned that it is badly animated, contains interesting language (alright swearing really) and could be offensive to you if you don't like that sort of stuff - but don't worry, it's meant to be!

Films

If you're into films you can find out about them here at SoundVision Filmzone

Now showing all over the UK is a film you may just have heard about, they call it 'Star Wars: The Phantom Menace' and having already taken several hundred million dollars in the US now its our turn to make George Lucus even richer! It is of course set before the original Star Wars Trilogy and is the first in a series of 3 new Star Wars films coming out in the near future.
In this first film you can expect the already famous Pod racing, fighting with lightsabres - including a special double lightsabre, and lots more - check out
www.theforce.co.uk for more info.
There is plenty of wierd Star Wars stuff on the net - check out the original Star Wars animated completely in ACSII at
Asciimation and various South Park style animation are popping up including some at www.jedinet.com/starpark/ and also www.countingdown.com .

The Mummy
This is very much an Indiana Jones style adventure/exloring film which involves finding some treasures and saving the world. It is set in Eygpt, for the most part around 1930. It has all the vital ingrediants including rival explorers, nasty undead creatures and the girl. The special effects are great and not overused and it has a good atmmosphere. Go and see it!
The Mummy is rated 12 and cam be seen now at cinemas all over the UK.
